WE ARE GOING CURLING!!!

We will be going curling 4 times in the month of March.
EACH CHILD NEEDS A HELMET TO BE ABLE TO GO ON THE ICE.

If for some reason your child will not be on the ice one of these days due to injury or illness, he/she will stay at school and work there.

We have a leader that will be on the ice with the students.  We are still asking for volunteer parents who would like to attend and go on the ice with the students. I will attach the dates to this post when I get them from M. Nadon.

Homework

Please check with your child about homework and or notes that are sent home.  There are a few students not giving notes and then you are out of the loop about what is going on.  Thank you for your anticipated cooperation.

SUBWAY LUNCH FORMS FOR LITERACY DAY LUNCH IN THE GYM!

Hot lunch forms are due today. Please have them all in before the end of today. Hot lunch day is JANUARY 28TH. This is our Literacy Day Lunch as well! We invite any parents, grandparents or family members who can join us, to order a sub and come and picnic with us in the gym while enjoying a good book.

DICTÉE /SPELLING

Your child should have gone home with a Dictée/Spelling list the first Monday after Christmas (January 4). The words for this week will be on there. If you still need a list, please check the blog. It is here.

WEATHER/OUTERWEAR

Please make sure that your child has boots, a toque, mitts and a winter jacket to come to school. The temperatures are very cold now and the students will go outside if it is warmer than -25! Ski pants would be a great bonus as well. They will call home for outerwear if they don't have proper clothing.
